Altenew September 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop

Hello!

I'm so happy to be a part of today's Altenew September 2018 Stamp/Die Release Blog Hop! I had lot of fun palying with new stamps/dies and hope you will enjoy design team work including mine.

Let's start with California Skies Stamp Set!

I used stripes of color cardstock to create the dawn gradient and stamped the solid image of Los Angeles landscape in black. Then added a sentiments and glitter with sequins.
It's a very simple way to create bright card using for example unused pieces of cardstock/paper.
The second set I played with is Starry Night Stamp & Die Bundle. I wanted to use a die in alternative way, and when I saw negative die cut I thought that it looks like unwrapped present edge. So I used peice of tissue and added a bow.


Looks like fun, right?
And the last product I played with is Creative Edges - Evergreen Die. I have no many edge dies but this one is so cool for any project and especially holiday ones of course.
I used it with pattern paper from Celebrate You Kit. I toned the die cut stripe with black ink and stamped a sentiment in the center of a card. I used Pale Grey cardstock for a card base to add little interest to monochromatic card.

    Sveta, what a brilliant idea to use the negative of the die, add tissue & a bow & create a present! That is truly creative thinking. The layering of those yummy bright colours behind the black of the L.A. stamp is so eye catching. Thanks so much!

    I absolutely love what you did with the tissue paper and the evergreen die set. It reminds me of origami, which is my other crafty passion, so you know that's going to be my favorite!
