Altenew A Year in Review Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!

End is coming to an end and it's a good tradition Altenew has to look back and pick up some favorite projects of the year! So I'm taking a pat in Altenew A Year in Review Blog Hop with a pleasure.

This year was magical and hard to me at a time. My baby girl Eva arrived on 2nd of January, she was so expected and desired and she turned all up and down. First year is hard and I had less time for crafting and less memory to do all in time))) My husband laughs at me saying that our daughter got all mom's brains))) Still I'm happy I still was able to create something eye-catching and I really love these four!

The first one is made using a stencil and a spray. When I started this card I didn't expect it will turn out so cool and city landscape will look so realistic covered with snow.

The second one was also unexpectedly cool. I made it from the "almost garbage" 😂. This beautiful square of washi tape left from the previous project and accidentally caught my eye.

The third and forth was planned to be gorgeous in advance haha. I love coloring very much, but due to lack of time last year it wasn't often guest on my table. For these cards I asked Eva's aunt to take care of her while I colored gorgeous flower stamps.

What card do you like the most?

Altenew December 2018 Stamp/Die/Paper Pack Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

Welcome to Altenew blog hop dedicated to the latest December 2018 Release!
You have probably came here from the blog of Alex Syberia, if not pls start from the begining - Altenew Card Blog

This release inspired me to create a layout (I haven't done them ton years), home decor and ...ok...a card))
I was inspired for the layout (6x6) with Flower Vine stamps and die bundle and the new patterned paper: Pastel Dreams and Verdant Walk.
I also used some embellishments from the Scrapbook kit.
On this photo Eva is 1 month old in grandma's hand. I have the same picture with me in mom's hand (need to find my baby album).
The flowers images are so cool for a photo background!
For the piece of home decor I used Pastel Dreams paper and New York stamp set. It's so cool itself so I couldn't resist to put it in a frame.
It's such an easy way to create stylish decor for your room!

And the last one is a watercolor card using Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set.
I heat embossed the flowers with white embossing powder on a watercolor paper and used Altenew Watercolor Brush Pens to color the whole sheet.
In my head I needed a long sentiment and found it in a Precious Moments Stamp Set.

Your next stop on the hop is Kelly Janes.

Altenew December 2018 Markers/Embellishments Release Blog Hop

Hello everyone!

You probably hoped here from the blog of  Kathleen Graumüller  (if not please start at Altenew Card Blog) and now is my turn to show you how I used new Altenew Artist Markers Set E!
I made a bright card using the new markers set and Engraved Flowers stamp and die bundle.
I suddenly decided to put flowers on the bright blue background and it was a WOW result. I have never tried this combo and now it's one of my fave!
I added some white dots with my gel pen to the flower's centers and put a tiny sentiment at the right bottom corner.

I like these new vibrant colors of markers!

Altenew Crafty Friends Blog Hop Day 2

Hello dear crafty friends!

I'm honored to take a part in Crafty Friends Blog Hop Day 2 and share my story and my card. Your previous stop was Galina Filippenko.
One day in back 2013 I woke up with the strong desire to create a card, it was Valentines day near I suppose. I went to You Tube and found Kristina's Werner videos and fell in love with the process, materials and of course result. Then I started to buy supplies, more and more) Real progress I had when started my blog and began to take a part in challenges. I finally felt that find the thing I lost entire life. Cardmaking - was and is treatment for my soul.
One of the most inspiring crafters for me is Yana Smakula, every time, literally "E V E R Y" time I see her new card a have question in my head "HOW?" - she has perfect taste and style, brilliant ideas and such a beautiful smile! Making this card I was inspired by her cards where she used alcohol markers to fill in the background. I made it partially to make a look of part-die cut.

Another fun story is about my firs giveaway won. I was subscribed to a talented Liliya Rytsar (Ukrainian living in Canada) and really liked her works and posts. So I won one of her giveaways and was over the moon. Now I won even better prize - she became a good friend to me)
I have more common stories of making friends while crafting and blogging, but lets left them for the next year ;)

I really hope that my cards are also inspire someone)
Works of  Lisa Spangler is def is very inspiring - your next stop is there!
