Altenew & Tombow USA Collaboration Blog Hop

Hello, dear friends!

 Today we will have some fun together with Tombow USA! 
For this blog hop I made interactive card with gorgeous butterfly.

 I used Altenew's Bejeweled stamp set and coordinating dies to emboss on vellum with white embossing powder. I colored butterfly with Tombow Brush Pens set of 10 (Portrait ). I enjoyed the process and especially soft colors and easy blending.
This butterfly turned out like a wood one, so I decided to place her on a piece of real wood using Altenew's Cherry Wood . The Card base is also wooden - Woodgrain white cardstock.
Finally, for the sentiment I used the one from Best Mom stamp set and added some sequins.


And now little bit closer look to see interactive element! I made my butterfly slide over the wood up and down in a very simple way - I used a paper clip. One end is to hold and move and the other - to adhere the butterfly on it!

    Your cards are always so beautiful. I love the woodgrain cardstock and your paperclip trick on the butterfly. The colouring on the butterfly with the Tombow markers is so soft like velvet. I love Altenew and Tombow products and would love to win some. Thanks for sharing.

    I'm always a sucker for woodgrain, but you have blown me away by going with the combo of real and faux woodgrain! You wouldn't think it would work when you say it like that, but its gorgeous!!! And with the colored vellum it is very elegant! Just beautiful!
